A conveyor system is a common piece of mechanical handling equipment that moves materials from one location to another. Conveyors are especially useful in applications involving the transportation of heavy or bulky materials and also, for faster and easier transportation of heavy materials.
History
The first conveyor belt systems were very primitive and consisted of a leather, canvas or rubber belt traveling over a flat wooden bed. This rudimentary system was successful enough to provide incentive for engineers to consider conveyor systems as an economical and efficient way to haul large quantities of bulk material from one location to another.
In 1892, Thomas Robins began a series of inventions which led to the development of a conveyor belt used for carrying coal, ores and other products.
Types:
Aluminum Frame Conveyor engineered for strength, light weight and are designed for ease
of automation.
Belt Conveyors consists of two or more pulleys, with a continuous loop of material - the
conveyor belt - that rotates about them.
Cleated Conveyor for conveying up steep inclines
Modular Conveyors for Curve conveyor system for every curve application
Turns Food Quality Conveyors
Industrial Conveyors Lift Gate work areas and the efficient movement of personnel can be provided by utilizing lift gates and pivot conveyors in the conveyor line.
Low Profile Conveyors ideal for use in manufacturing plants as well as distribution centers,
packaging lines, metal stamping and precision manufacturing
environments, and more.
Plastic Chain Conveyors flexlink's cutting-edge solutions use proprietary technology not found in
other conveyor systems.
Portable Conveyors can help transport construction materials with easy.
Stainless Steel Frame Conveyors an handle everything from food processing to final packaging.
Vacuum Belt Conveyors hold flat parts of any material fast to the belt which is ideal for elevation
changes or part holding.
Z-frame Conveyors an incline conveyor or decline conveyor to match a production line
height.
